BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, July 14. The Kyrgyz Stock Exchange (KSE) recorded a sharp rise in trading activity on July 14, 2025, with the daily turnover reaching $4.75 million.
Data obtained by Trend from KSE shows that the entire volume of transactions took place within the listing segment. Activity was nearly evenly split between the primary and secondary markets, with $2.37 million and $2.36 million in trades, respectively.
The surge was largely attributed to demand for two-year government treasury bonds (GKOs), which accounted for $4.74 million of the total trading volume.
Apart from GKOs, limited activity was observed in corporate securities. Small-volume trades were registered in the shares of OJSC Kyrgyzneftegaz and FinanceCreditBank, as well as bonds issued by OOO Alfa Oil and OOO Stroy Dom.KG.
No off-list transactions were reported for the day, indicating that investor interest remained focused on listed government-backed instruments.
