Azersu resumed water supplies to Sumgayit, the company said on March 16.
Azersu halted water supplies to Sumgayit due to pipeline problems last week.
"We resumed water supplies yesterday," the company said.
"A fire on the water line caused the plastic pipelines to melt," Azersu said.
In 2008, Azersu laid 252.2 kilometers of water lines and installed sewage collectors along 85.4 kilometers to improve water supplies in Azerbaijani cities and regions.
