Association of Electrical Industry Enterprises Uzeltehsanoat is being created in Uzbekistan, Trend reports with reference to Uzbek media.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has signed a decree " On measures for the further development and increase of the export potential of the electrical industry".
According to the document, the enterprises and organizations of the electrical industry may be members of Uzeltehsanoat.
The association will develop a strategy for sustainable development of industry as a single complex for the processing of raw materials, production and export of finished products.
Uzeltehsanoat will study the demand for electrical products in the Uzbek and foreign markets, as well as assist in the development of new products.
The tasks of the association also include attraction of investments, primarily the foreign ones, for the development of high-tech industries for the production of electrical products, modernization, technical and technological re-equipment of the industry.
