Turkey’s revenues from taxation of vehicles and the use of roads and bridges in 2018 amounted to 1.798 billion Turkish liras (TL), Turkish Directorate General for Highway Management told Trend.
The revenues from taxation from the use of road bridges in 2018 exceeded 464 million TL, and 1.334 billion TL for the use of highways.
"During the reporting period, a total of over 463.4 million units of vehicles proceeded along the roads and bridges," the government agency stated.
In December 2018, Turkey’s income from the taxation of vehicles and from the use of roads and bridges amounted to 150.8 million TL.
