The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) is looking to participate in the tender for the privatization of the Greek company DEPA, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev said on Tuesday.
He said the tender for the privatization of the Greek company has been extended until May 30.
"We are ready for tender, and are looking to participate in it," Abdullayev said.
SOCAR is one of the participants in the DEPA privatization tender. The Azerbaijani company's interest in participating is based on the fact that the Greek DEPA operates gas distribution networks and conducts other gas operations in Greece.
