Iran has launched the construction of six power plants worth $21.3 million in Bushehr Province during the President Hassan Rouhani’s visit to the Province.
The managing director of Fars Regional Electrical Co Abdolaziz Karimi has announced that the projects would start by installing 230 kilovolt power substation worth $7.1 million, which would be an important part of six power plants’ operation in Fars and Bushehr power companies,” Trend reports citing the government news website Dolat.ir
"The construction of outgoing transmission lines will have an important role in increasing the network sustainability and power production to meets the needs of new subscribers,” he added.
Referring to connecting power lines he said the 230 kilovolt electrical grid with eight kilometers long will be installed with cost of $3.2 million in form of two transmission line routes to connect to the network.
He noted that the construction of 66 kilovolt outgoing transmission line with 30 kilometers long has already started.
"The two transmission line routes will connect to the power substation that will be constructed and are to distribute electricity to Bushehr regional power company, resolve the network problems and provide more electricity to new subscribers.
"Another power project that started in Bushehr was the construction of 132 kilovolt power substation in Jainag worth $1.8 million with production capacity of 30 megavolt-ampere, in order to provide electricity to new subscribers and resolve the network problems,” he added.
