From January through November 2019, Georgia imported 146,367 tons of oil and oil products worth $80.4 million from Azerbaijan, Trend reports referring to the Georgian National Statistical Office (Geostat).
On an annualized basis, the volume of deliveries of oil and oil products from Azerbaijan to Georgia increased by 2.5 percent.
In the reporting period, the value of electricity exported from Azerbaijan to Georgia amounted to $45.2 million, 12.6 percent less compared to the same period of 2018.
The trade turnover of Georgia with Azerbaijan from January through November this year amounted to $932.7 million. This is 1.7 percent less compared to the same period last year.
In the structure of commodity circulation, $444.6 million fell on exports to Azerbaijan, $488.1 million - on imports from Azerbaijan.
In the reporting period, exports from Georgia to Azerbaijan grew by 2.2 percent, while the imports from Azerbaijan fell by 4.9 percent compared to the same period last year.
The external merchandise trade of Georgia amounted to $11.5 billion from January through November 2019, 1.4 percent higher year-on-year.
The exports equaled $3.4 billion (11.7 percent higher), while the imports stood at $8.1 billion (2.3 percent lower).
