DUSHANBE, Tajikistan, August 9. The influx of foreign investments into the Tajikistan economy amounted to $1.95 billion as of July 1, 2024, marking a 45.9 percent increase compared to the same period last year, Trend reports via the State Committee for Investments.
"During this period, three new investment agreements totaling $2.16 billion were signed for the construction of manufacturing facilities, and an additional eight investment agreements totaling $505 million are under review," the committee said.
The committee also highlighted that intergovernmental agreements on the mutual encouragement and protection of investments have been signed with Türkiye and China. A number of forums have been held with Qatar, Italy, Uzbekistan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, China, the US, and Saudi Arabia.
