BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 6. Iran's non-oil trade turnover with Azerbaijan amounted to about 726,000 tons worth $602 million in the 11th month of the current Iranian year (from March 21, 2023, through February 19, 2024), the statistics report of Iran's Customs Administration says, Trend reports,
According to statistics, for 11 months, Iran's trade turnover with Azerbaijan decreased by 5.4 percent in value terms and increased by 1.4 percent in weight terms compared to the same period last year.
Based on the statistics, Iran's trade turnover with Azerbaijan amounted to about 716,000 tons worth about $637 million in the same period last year.
The statistics added that rubber materials, agricultural and food products, petrochemical products, industrial products, equipment, and other goods were exchanged between Iran and Azerbaijan during the mentioned period.
Statistics indicate that during the 11th month of the current Iranian year (from January 21 through February 19, 2024), Iran's trade turnover with Azerbaijan amounted to 75,000 tons worth $63 million.
To note, statistics from Iran's Customs Administration indicate that Iran's trade turnover for the 11th month amounted to about $139 billion. Compared to the same period last year, trade turnover increased by 2.7 percent in value terms.
