The visit of the Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Turkey will begin on November 16, Zakir Hashimov, the Azerbaijan Ambassador to Turkey exclusively informed Trend.
He stressed that on November 17, Aliyev will participate in the summit of the Heads of Turkic-Speaking countries, which will take place in Antalia. The meeting is expected to be attended by the presidents of Turkey, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzia and Kazakhstan. The Ambassador said that a Joint Declaration will be adopted as a result of the meeting. The bilateral meetings will be held, and the presidents of several countries have already voiced their wish to meet with Aliyev. The last meeting of the Heads of Turkic-Speaking countries took place on April 8, 2000 in Baku, where a Baku Declaration was adopted.
Mr. Hashimov said that the visit will end on November 18.
