Today, there are big problems with the use of rules and principles of the international law, the first vice-speaker of the Azerbaijani parliament said.

"Today, there are major problems associated with the use of norms and principles of the international law. It is necessary to find the ways for the most effective principles of the international law. Sometimes, political interests prevail over the law. Then the right is ineffective in resolving the international relations," the first vice- Speaker Ziyafat Askerov said at the Second International Scientific Conference "Actual problems of legal science" dedicated to the 87th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev's birthday.

Today, Baku hosts the second international scientific conference "Actual problems of legal science" dedicated to the upcoming 87th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The conference jointly organized by the Belarusian State University and the University of the Caucasus, involves more than 200 scientists from about ten countries.

Askerov said that there are certain problems with jurisprudence in the globalized world.

"Such social relations that can not be resolved in a civilized manner have been formed," the first vice-speaker said.

In his speech, Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Hulusi Kilic said that Azerbaijan has been integrated into the legal system of Europe shortly.

"The recognition of diplomas of graduates of law faculties in Turkey and Azerbaijan is important. But there are some problems in this sphere. I hope that a way to solve these problems will be found at this conference," ambassador said.
