ASTANA, Kazakhstan, January 24. The Kazakh authorities are developing measures to minimize the risks from external economic factors, Trend reports.
Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektanov held a working meeting on the impact of external factors on the country's economy. The meeting reviewed macroeconomic forecasts and various scenarios for the situation's development. Measures to minimize the impact of potential adverse factors were discussed, as well as ways to leverage existing advantages.
The leadership of the ministries of national economy, finance, and energy, and the National Welfare Fund "Samruk-Kazyna," presented calculations and scenarios regarding the impact of global economic developments on Kazakhstan. The Ministry of National Economy, together with relevant government agencies and organizations, was given a series of instructions.
To note, on January 28, 2025, an extended meeting of the government of Kazakhstan will be held under the chairmanship of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev. The meeting will summarize the socio-economic development of the country for 2024 and formulate key tasks for the government in the upcoming period.
