BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 14. Passenger car production at Iran’s Parskhodro Automobile Manufacturing Company declined during the first three months of the current Iranian year (March 21 - June 21, 2025), falling by 27.5 percent, or 6,870 units, compared to the same period last year (March 20 - June 20, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from a report published by Codal.ir, a comprehensive database under Iran's Securities and Exchange Organization, shows that the company produced around 18,000 passenger cars, down from nearly 24,900 units in the corresponding months of 2024.
The report states that the company manufactured about 15,100 units of the “Q-200” model, 2,730 units of the “Sahand,” and 207 units of other models.
Codal's data shows that Iran’s three leading automakers—Iran Khodro (IKCO), SAIPA, and Pars Khodro—culminated in the production of an aggregate of 192,725 passenger vehicles throughout the specified timeframe. This signifies a contraction of 16.9 percent in the output of passenger vehicles relative to the corresponding timeframe of the previous fiscal year.
