A subsidiary of the U.S insurance company Chartis (AIG Insurance) in Azerbaijan - Chartis Azerbaijan collected insurance premiums worth 1.278 million manat for the first nine months of 2011, the company said on Friday.
More than 91 percent of fees, or 1.174 million manat fall to voluntary insurance.
Chartis Azerbaijan collected premiums worth 1.44 manat on one type of insurance from accidents and illness.
The company collected 1.171 million manat in property insurance during the reporting period, of which 444,870 manat fell to the property insurance against fire and other risks, 5,150 manat - cargo insurance, 721,390 manat - general liability insurance, 78,860 manat - employer's liability insurance.
The company collected only 103,850 manat on compulsory kinds of insurance. This amount has been provided by fees on compulsory insurance against fire.
The insurance company paid compensation to the amount of 9.97 manat for the first nine months of the year.
The company's authorized capital reached 3.5 million manat.
