Azertexnolayn plant, located in Azerbaijan’s Sumgayit city, plans to expand the production volumes of main products this year, a source at the plant told Trend.
This includes the supply of corrugated pipes SN 8 DN 1000, 400 300, 200, according to the source.
“The plant annually renews the variety of its products, and this year we plan to expand the varieties of products,” the source added. “There is quite big demand for the products of our plant in the domestic market, while at the same time we are increasing our export potential. So, the increase in production volumes is related primarily to the goal of expanding the export capabilities of the plant.”
Last year, the plant signed a contract for $80,000 with an Uzbek plant owned by Akelik Group, according to the source.
“This year it is planned to conclude agreements with partners in Kazakhstan,” said the source.
The plant, which is the first resident of the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park, was commissioned in 2013.
Presently, the plant uses modern technologies for the production and export of steel pipes with a diameter of 400-2,000 millimeters used in the transportation of crude oil, natural gas, for the needs of oil refineries, laying of water pipelines, as well as in steel structures and steel piles.
The plant also produces polyethylene sewer pipes with steel reinforcement with a diameter of 400-2,400 millimeters, metal panel fencing made of wire up to 2.5 meters wide and high, plastic fittings, water and gas valves, plastic circular valves.
The plant has a number of certificates obtained for high quality products in accordance with national and international standards such as API, ISO 9001, OHSA 18001, ISO 14001, ISO 29001, GOST, and AZS.
