BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 5. South Korean Hyundai Engineering Co. has announced the shutdown of its branch in Azerbaijan, Trend reports.
According to the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, creditors can submit their claims within two months at the following address: 40, Jafar Jabbarli Street, Yasamal district, Baku.
The branch was registered on November 30, 2012, with Jong Ho Yoon as the legal representative.
To note, Hyundai Engineering Co. is a South Korean engineering firm established in 1974. As part of Hyundai Motor Group, it offers design, construction, and project management services across various sectors, including petrochemicals, energy, infrastructure, and manufacturing.
The company's core activities include petrochemicals (design and construction of oil and gas processing plants, production of chemicals, and petroleum products), energy (development of thermal, nuclear, and renewable energy sources like solar and wind power), infrastructure (civil engineering projects such as roads, bridges, tunnels, and hydroelectric plants), and manufacturing (design and construction of industrial facilities for various sectors).
