(Kazinform) - The 11th sitting of the Council for mutual recognition and equivalency of certificates on education, degrees and titles under EurAsEc Integration Committee is being held in Astana city, reports Trend.
Members of the Council representatives of educational establishments of Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are taking part in the event. Representatives of EurAsEc Inter-parliamentary Assembly are invited to the sitting as well.
There are 19 questions in the agenda. One of them is election of the Council's Chairman. Kazakh side proposed candidature of Kazakh Education and Science Vice Minister Khafiza Uteulina. According to the Deputy Secretary General of Eurasian Economic Community, before this post was held by Gennady Gamarnik, ex-vice minister of Education and Science, but he transferred to another job.
K. Uteulina worked in the insurance fund, then held posts of Vice Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Population, counselor of Kazakh Premier and departmental management of the Prime Minister's Chancellery. The participants of the conference unanimously approved the candidate.
