BISHKEK, Kyrgyzstan, October 13. A meeting of the CIS inter-parliamentary Assembly will be held in Bishkek in mid-November, CIS Secretary General, Sergey Lebedev said, following a meeting of the Council of CIS Heads of State in Bishkek, Trend reports.
"A meeting of the CIS Inter-parliamentary Assembly will be held here in Bishkek on November 16-17. A meeting of the CIS Economic Council is scheduled for December 8, also under the chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan. And I am deeply convinced that the upcoming events, which still need to be held, will be organized and, most importantly, effective for strengthening integration cooperation within the CIS," he said.
Lebedev emphasized that there is also active work together with the Government of Kyrgyzstan, with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with economic structures responsible for the preparation of those treaties and agreements that will be submitted to the meeting of the Council of Heads of State tentatively on October 26 in Bishkek.
