Turkmen ecologists planning co-op with GNDR

Turkmenistan in planning to implement any thematic projects with GNDR, member of the board of Nature Conservation Society of Turkmenistan told Trend.

In terms of Turkmenistan’s cooperation with GNDR, the member noted that Turkmenistan’s membership in The Global Network of Civil Society Organisations for Disaster Reduction (GNDR) will positively affect its ecology.

The member said that the work is underway to aware people what GNDR is and what are its goals.

The member pointed out, that currently, Turkmenistan and GNDR focus on their activities online, due to the COVID-19.

Turkmenistan’s Nature Conservation Society became a part of GNDR in October last year.

Nature Conservation Society of Turkmenistan is the largest national civil society organization in Turkmenistan, that was founded in 1968.

In general, Turkmenistan pays great attention to environmental protection and ecology.
