BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 16. Iran's non-oil exports to Kazakhstan in the 11 months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through February 18, 2025) have increased by 35.7 percent in value and 1 percent in weight compared to the same period last year (from March 21, 2023, through February 19, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the Iranian Customs Administration indicates that the country's non-oil exports to Kazakhstan during this period reached approximately $254 million, amounting to nearly 427,000 tons.
Moreover, Iran's non-oil exports to Kazakhstan during the same period last year were valued at around $187 million, totaling about 422,000 tons.
The report highlights that Iran's key exports to Kazakhstan include agricultural and food products, tobacco goods, petrochemical products, and more.
Furthermore, trade turnover between Iran and Kazakhstan during the 11-month period amounted to approximately $309 million, with a total weight of 589,000 tons. This marks an increase of 25.6 percent in value and 7 percent in weight compared to the same period last year.
To note, Iran’s non-oil exports amounted to nearly 125 million tons, valued at $44.9 billion, in the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2023 through February 19, 2024). This is an increase of 11.4 percent in volume and a decrease of 8.87 percent in value compared to the same period last year.
Iran's Customs Administration data shows that the country's total exports of non-oil products amounted to 141 million tons worth $53.4 billion during 11 months. Compared to the same period last year, non-oil exports increased by 19 percent in value and 12.6 percent in weight.
