BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 24. Iran’s non-oil exports to Kazakhstan increased by nearly 29.8 percent in value and 0.2 percent in weight in the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025) compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from the Iranian Customs Administration indicates that in total, Iran exported 459,000 tons of non-oil products worth about $278 million to Kazakhstan during this period. This marks a noticeable rise from the previous year, when exports amounted to around $215 million for nearly the same weight of goods.
The primary commodities in these export transactions encompassed
agrarian outputs, consumable goods, tobacco derivatives, and
petrochemical derivatives.
In summary, the aggregate valuation of non-petroleum commerce
between the two countries attained an estimated $340 million,
encompassing a cumulative exchange of 648,000 tons of merchandise,
indicative of a 22.3 percent escalation in monetary value and an
8.6 percent uptick in volumetric weight compared to the preceding
fiscal year.
The Iranian Customs Administration has disclosed that the aggregate
exportation of non-petroleum commodities amounted to $57.8 billion,
encompassing nearly 152 million tons. This represents a 15.6
percent augmentation in monetary value and a 10 percent escalation
in weight relative to the preceding fiscal year.
