BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 30. Iran's non-oil product exports to Uzbekistan have experienced significant growth during the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2024, through March 20, 2025), with a 22.7 percent increase in value and a 13.6 percent increase in weight, compared to the previous year (from March 21, 2023, through March 19, 2024).
Data obtained by Trend from Iran's Customs Administration indicates that these exports were valued at approximately $411 million and weighed around 575,000 tons during the past Iranian year.
The data reveals that in the prior year, Iran's non-oil exports to Uzbekistan were valued at about $335 million, totaling 506,000 tons. The key export items from Iran to Uzbekistan included dairy products, petrochemical goods, various types of pipes, glass containers, and agricultural equipment.
Furthermore, the overall trade volume between Iran and Uzbekistan reached $500 million in value, totaling around 617,000 tons. This represents an 8.7 percent increase in value and a 4.5 percent increase in weight compared to the previous year.
In addition, Iran's overall non-oil exports for the past year amounted to $49.3 billion, totaling over 136 million tons. Despite a decrease in value by 8.87 percent, the weight of non-oil exports increased by 9.82 percent.
