BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 5. Product exports through customs in Mazandaran Province, located in northern Iran, amounted to 145,000 tons, valued at $22.5 million, in the first month of the current Iranian year (from March 21 through April 20, 2025), Amir Jamshidi, an inspector of the province's Customs Department, told reporters, Trend reports.
According to Jamshidi, the primary exports included dairy products, cement, rubber materials, kiwis, and various food items.
He added that these products were mostly exported to Iraq, Russia, India, Turkmenistan, and Kazakhstan.
Mazandaran Province, situated along the southern coast of the Caspian Sea, has three active ports, which play a crucial role in Iran’s trade with Caspian littoral states.
