Exports of non-oil products via Iran's Mazandaran Province customs surges

BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 1. The export of non-oil products through the customs of Mazandaran Province, located in the north of Iran, increased by 29 percent in value and 11 percent in weight terms during ten months of the current Iranian year (from March 20, 2024 through January 19, 2025) compared to the same period last year (from March 21, 2023 through January 20, 2024), controller of Iran's Mazandaran Province customs Amir Jamshidi told reporters, Trend reports.

According to him, a total of 1.45 million tons of non-oil products worth $336 million were exported through Mazandaran province customs during the ten months.

Jamshidi added that for ten months, the main exports were dairy products worth $102 million, cement worth $33 million, rubber products worth $35 million, metals worth $28 million, and various equipment and spare parts worth $12 million.

The official stated that about $119 million worth of products were mainly exported via the provincial customs to Iraq, $117 million to Russia, $24.5 million to Turkmenistan, $13.5 million to Kazakhstan and $9.79 million to Pakistan.

To note, Iran's non-oil exports reached $47.8 billion in the first ten months of the current Iranian year, marking an 18 percent increase compared to the same period last year.
