The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) is ready to show a rapid and tough reaction to force Saudi Arabia to accept responsibility over the Mina tragedy, IRGC commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari said.
The IRGC is prepared to hear commands of the Supreme Leader in this regard, Jafari said, Iran's Fars news agency reported on October 3.
"IRGC is ready with might and decisiveness to act at any time and any place to defend dignity of Muslims, especially the Iranian Muslim nation."
IRGC will take a tough revenge of oppressor and ignorant rulers of Saudi Arabia, he stressed.
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has warned Riyadh that the slightest disrespect for the Iranian Hajj pilgrims or its failure to repatriate the bodies of those killed in the Mina crush will draw Iran's "severe and tough reaction".
At least 464 Iranians died In a stampede in Mina September 24, near Mecca while pilgrims were performing their Hajj ritual.
