100 percent of Tajik citizens in Azerbaijan voted in elections to the Parliament (UPDATED)

100 percent of Tajik citizens, who temporarily live in Azerbaijan, by 17:30 local time voted for election to the Parliament of Tajikistan, told Trend Second Secretary of Tajikistan's Embassy in Azerbaijan Sharaf Rahimov.

According to him, the polling station at the embassy is closed.

Elections for parliament and councils of people's deputies were held on Sunday in Tajikistan.

The polling station at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Azerbaijan started operate ten days before the election.

At present, 38 citizens of Tajikistan, temporarily living and working in Azerbaijan, are registered in the Embassy. This is mostly embassy staff members and their families, as well as people working under contract in Azerbaijan.
