Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Elchin Efendiyev will visit Iran to take part in the Novruz holiday celebrations, Fars agency reported.
March 27-28 Tehran will host celebrations, which will be attended by the presidents of several Iran's neighbouring countries that celebrate Novruz.
At the initiative of Azerbaijan, February 23, 2010 the UN General Assembly unanimously adopted a resolution declaring March 21 as International Day of Novruz.
On Monday, International Day of Novruz was celebrated at the residence of the United Nations.
