Oficers of the Azerbaijan National Security Ministry have been examined in the court on the case of Haji Mammadov and his gang consisting of 25 members. The legal proceedings over former Senior Officer of the Central Criminal Investigation Department of the Interior Ministry Haji Mammadov and 25 members of his gang is being held in the Azerbaijan Court for Serious Crimes presided by judge Ali Seyfaliyev,Trend reports.
Nazim Latifov, Chief of a Group of the National Security Minister, conducted a search in the house of accused Aslanbek Chantamirov, and said in his testimonies that when they came to the house, they provided sanctions on the search and began the process. During the search, all the witnesses were present. A pistol, two cartridge clips, as well as heroin were found in a telephone box. All of the found was recorded. Mr. Chantamirov brought to the notice of the court that all of the abovementioned things were put stealthily.
Sabina Butayeva, an employee of the Sabunchi Branch of the International Bank of Azerbaijan was examined on the episode linked with former chief of the Branch and currently accused Elchin Aliyev. She told about a number of law infringements during Mr. Aliyev work in the post of the Chief of the Branch

Fahraddin Abbasov, an employee of the Expertise Department of the Medical Expertise Service of Sumgayit City was questioned too. He said that he had entered the expertise group that driven out to the place where the body of a resident of Saray Settlement, Novruz Ismayilov had been found. After the corpse was examined, he passed a conclusion to the Prosecutor's Office of Absheron District of Baku Cuty, which initiated a criminal case on the fact. Afterwards the criminal case was passed to the Sumgayit City Prosecutor's Office.
Madjid Mammadov, an employee of the Investigation Expertise of Garadagh District gave testimonies on the episode on revealing bodies of the members of Haji Mammadov gang Boris Ayubov, Ruslan Ukushev, and Dilbar Novruzova near Gurd Gapisi (Wolf Gates) in December, 1998.
The court found contradictory moments in the testimonies of the above-mentioned witnesses. The court hearing to be continued.
