BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 17. Russia's revenues from oil exports in June 2023 amounted to $11.8 billion, which is $9.9 billion less month-on-month ($21.7 billion in June 2022).
According to the data obtained by Trend from the International Energy Agency (IEA), Russian crude production was mainly steady in the reporting period of 2023 - at 9.45 mb/d. At the same time, the country's Russian oil exports declined by almost 600,000 b/d in June 2023 - to 7.3 mb/d.
Russia's revenues from crude supplies in June 2023 turned out to be the lowest this year so far, since February 2023 income ($11.7 billion).
Since year-start, the country's revenues from crude sales held mostly steady, showing downward trend although. As such, in January Russia received some $14.3 billion, in February - $11.7 billion, in March - $13.5 billion, in April - $14.5 billion, and in May - $13.3 billion.
Meanwhile, in June, Russian crude exports declined by approximately 500,000 b/d, reaching 4.7 mb/d.
This marked the lowest level since December 2022. Although the June data is not finalized, loadings were reduced for various destinations, including China and India.
On the other hand, East Europe witnessed a 45,000 b/d increase in crude imports from the EU. Türkiye, however, experienced a 70,000 b/d drop in crude imports, reaching 190,000 b/d. It is worth mentioning that the 'Other Destinations' category saw a month-on-month increase of 150,000 b/d, encompassing other FSU countries, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Cuba.
