ASTANA, Kazakhstan, February 26. Some 9.8 million tons of crude oil from the CPC blend had been shipped from the CPC marine terminal to 89 tankers as of February 23 this year, despite the February UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) attack, Trend reports.

On February 25-26, 2025, a shareholder meeting of CPC (Caspian Pipeline Consortium) took place in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The event opened with a discussion of the UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) attack on the "Kropotkinskaya" oil pumping station on February 17, 2025. Representatives of the Russian government shareholder in CPC, PJSC (Public Joint-Stock Company) "Transneft," expressed serious concern regarding this terrorist act and declared that such attacks on CPC facilities, which are protected by international law, are unacceptable.

Caspian Pipeline Consortium CEO Nikolay Gorban presented a report on the damages to the oil pumping station, the current condition of the equipment, the status of the work to dismantle damaged equipment, and the status of contractor mobilization. The Consortium's shareholders expressed their readiness to provide support for any issues related to repair work, which is expected to take about two months.

The company continues to implement its Strategic Plan to develop a corporate culture of safe production, particularly improving its Leadership Standard.

In mechanical and technological equipment, no accidents were reported last year, and the utilization factor was 0.973. In 2024, 121 hoses were replaced at the offshore mooring facilities. Nearly 34,000 scheduled maintenance tasks were carried out at the oil pumping station facilities and on the pipeline section, with 96 defects detected and eliminated based on internal pipeline diagnostics.

The shareholders also discussed the progress of long-term investment projects, the work of the Reliability Coordination Committee, the current state of the pipeline’s load-bearing capacity, and the improvement of procurement regulations.
