ASTANA, Kazakhstan, June 28. The construction of a state-of-the-art plant for the production of flakes and cereals is currently underway in the North Kazakhstan Region, initiated by LLP “Wheat of Kazakhstan,” Trend reports via the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The data indicates that the aggregate expenditure for the
initiative surpasses 3 billion tenge (approximately $5.7 million).
An allocation of 291 million tenge (approximately $553,000) has
been earmarked from the regional fiscal framework to facilitate the
enhancement of requisite infrastructure. Commencement of
construction activities was initiated in May 2024.
“The facility will incorporate a comprehensive production continuum
for the conversion of grain into high-value derivatives, which will
markedly bolster the competitive edge of Kazakhstan's
agro-industrial offerings in both local and global marketplaces,”
the statement articulated.
Contemporary apparatus sourced from Ukraine is currently undergoing
installation at the designated location. The initiation of three
manufacturing lines is scheduled for deployment. Focused scrutiny
is being directed towards optimizing energy utilization and
ensuring ecological integrity. All technological implementations
will adhere to globally recognized quality benchmarks.
The facility is projected to generate a diverse portfolio of nine
product variants, encompassing an array of porridge formulations.
The throughput capability is projected to oscillate between 24,000
and 30,000 metric tons of finalized goods annually. The facility is
slated for deployment in the August–September 2025 timeframe.
