Premiums of one of the leading Azerbaijani insurance companies Pasa Sigorta amounted to 1,798 million manat with payments of 558,660 manat in January-March, the company reported.
During the report period, the company collected premiums worth 1,539 million manat with payments of 442,423 manat.
The company's premiums for voluntary insurance amounted to 1,749 million with payments of 556.030 manat and compulsory insurance - 49.252 manat with payments of 2,630 manat. In the first quarter, premiums collected for reinsurance operations amounted to 110.805 manat and premiums from the transfer for reinsurance - 369,709 manat.
In January-March, the company's authorized capital totaled 9mln manat, tax profit - 543.113 manat and the number of the signed insurance contracts - 1,700, of which 1,449 on compulsory insurance.
Pasha Sıgorta is a member of the group Pasha Holding. It renders services to corporate and individual clients on 30 types of insurance.In April the company completed increase of its authorized capital to 20 million manat, which are secured at the expense of profits earned in 2009, and partly due to additional investment of shareholder of the company.
