By Matanat Nasibova – Trend:
The Altis Group of Companies, engaged in the production and sale of plastic windows, is considering exporting its products, Panah Alisoy, Marketing Director at Altis Group of Companies, told Trend.
According to the marketing director, Georgia is the only external market to which the company's products are exported.
"We intend to expand the geography of exports of our products, as well as to further increase production volumes. Right now we are actively looking for alternative foreign markets, because the volume of supplies to neighboring Georgia is unsatisfactory. Firstly, they are not large, since the demand for our products there is not high, due to the presence of competition in the market. The presence of Turkish products seriously reduces the interest in the products of our company, primarily due to the low price of the goods. In such conditions, it is difficult to break through to this market, and there is no point in increasing the volume of supplies to the Georgian market," Alisoy said.
Alisoy also pointed out that the company considers Central Asian countries as potential sales markets.
"We want to establish exports to Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan by the end of this year, so now we are actively looking for partners in these countries. We believe that after the well-known decree of the head of state on the changes introduced in the customs system and in the field of transport, we will not encounter difficulties and problems at customs points during export operations," he said.
Alisoy clarified that, as part of the production process, the company performs glass cutting and packaging, tempering and lamination, sandblasting and decorative processing, automatic processing of flat and radius glass doors, and also deals with the processing and installation of aluminum doors and windows.
Altis Group of Companies is one of the leading companies specializing in glass processing and construction in Azerbaijan, operating in the country since 2005.
