Iran has good opportunity to expand its market of goods, while the country's productive units are capable of increasing employment, said member of the Tehran Chamber of Commerce Abbas Argon, Trend reports via ISNA.
"Considering past months' planning to support domestic production, sanctions and resuming import of goods has created new atmosphere to expand market of Iranian goods," Argon said.
"Limitations related to imports of basic materials should be resolved, since it is related to the country's production capacity, "Argon said.
Following the re-impose of US sanctions on Iran, the country's production units have faced certain difficulties with importing basic materials due to banking and money transfer limitations.
"Reducing production costs is another important issue that should be on agenda, to increase competitiveness of Iranian products with foreign ones," Argon said.
"Development of non-oil export has importance in expanding domestic goods market. The quality of production process should be improved and help expand the market," he said.
