An enterprise manufacturing reinforced concrete products in Bayramaly city in the Mary province of Turkmenistan produces up to 30,000 cubic meters of products per year, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan agency.

The enterprise provides about 100 types of products, including reinforced concrete slabs, fences, various pipes, curbs and cladding panels, which are widely used in construction sites in the country.

The Turkmen Aga Gurlushyk company has recently begun construction of a plant for manufacturing reinforced concrete products in the Gokdepe district of Ahal region of Turkmenistan. The design capacity of the plant is 500,000 meters of concrete pipes with a diameter of 300-1,200 millimeters.

Production of cement is the priority direction of the building materials industry in Turkmenistan. The country’s plants produce Portland cement, grouting and sulphate resistant cement.

Turkmen plants produce reinforced blocks, expanded clay, precast reinforced concrete products, ceramic bricks and facing slabs, the report said.

Plants of large-panel housing construction designed for the production of reinforced concrete structures for the construction of multi-storey residential buildings and cottage-type houses have significantly increased their potential. In particular, the output of ceramic bricks, fittings, metal profiles, plastic and fiberglass pipes increased.
