Azerbaijan, Nakhchivan / Тrend corr E. Mammadov / The farmers of Azerbaijan's Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) are receiving plastic cards, the head of the Currency and Statistics Department at Nakhchivan Office of the National Bank of Azerbaijan (NBA), Ogtay Gurbanov, reported on 6 September.
The total number of farmers in NAR comes to 19,973.
The first lot of plastic cards was distributed among sixty landowners of Sharur region's Karimli village. In Sharur 3,391 farmers will receive such cards, Gurbanov reported.
