Iran 's electrical peak demand increased by 1,225 mega watt up to 37,298 mega watt, IRNA quoted the Energy Ministry's data.
The electrical peak demand on Friday hit 1,421 mega watt while the power consumption in country's industries increased by 508 mega watt up to 2,891.
The electrical peak demand is the greatest amount of electricity consumed by customers at any time.
The Iranian industries' power production reached 694 mega watt on Friday while the power intake increased by 1,61 mega watt up to 2,891 mega watt.
The Iranian power plants' capacity increased up to 51,33 mega watt indicating 3,61 mega watt increase compared to last year(ended on March 20,2011).
The power plants' production also increased on Friday up to 38,114 mega watt.
Iran's electrical peak demand is expected to increase up to 45,000 megawatt this summer however, the figure will reduce up to 43,000 megawatt by removing subsides.
