BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 18. Azerbaijan exported 1,191 tons of oil bitumen worth $220,00 abroad from January through November 2024, Trend reports.
The data obtained by Trend from the State Customs Committee shows that the product's export volume decreased by 527 tons (30.7 percent) and the value by $201,000 (47.7 percent) year on year.
Besides, in 11 months of 2024, Azerbaijan exported 186,588 tons of petroleum coke worth $15.89 million to foreign markets, which is $41.3 million (72.2 percent) less in value and 35,768 tons (16.1 percent) in volume than in the same period of last year.
In this timeframe, the exportation of petroleum coke constituted a mere 0.07 percent of the aggregate export volume from Azerbaijan.
