Byelorussian government is studying the opportunity of oil and oil products supply to the republic from Azerbaijan, reportedly said Andrey Kobakov, Vice Premier of Byelorussian government.
"We already examined the possibility of power carriers supply from Azerbaijan. Earlier we considered this difficult, but in a view of growing oil prices this idea is coming true", - he told journalists upon the completion of Mondays third session of Byelorussian-Azeri intergovernmental commission for trade and economic cooperation.
In turn, Abbas Abbasov, first Vice Premier of Azeri government, said the sides at the session discussed supply of oil products to Byelorussia.
Both Kobakov and Abbasov stated their dissatisfaction with the current commodity turnover between the two countries, regardless of its doubling up to $30mln in 2005, Interfax-West reports.
