Testing of a program entering the project on apply of e-digital signature (EDS) in Azerbaijan is under completion, Ultra company told Trend .
The system is being tested in the Communications and IT Ministry's Information Center. Following completion of testing, the system will be put into trial operation.
The relevant agencies hold work on the project in accordance with the adopted business plan according to which three centers for issuing digital signatures will be established in. Two centers will provide service for public and private entities, and one will be the lead.
The consortium consisting of companies Microsoft Azerbaijan, Azerin and Ultra holds work on creation of the digital signature which is the basic foundation of the state program "On electronic Azerbaijan". The consortium is the winner of the tender on installation of a national infrastructure of open keys for the use of EDS announced in September 2008.
