ASHGABAT, Turkmenistan, September 18. President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has proposed to include the issues of developing trade relations and creating new partnership models on the agenda of the 10th meeting of the Joint Turkmen-German Working Group on Economic Cooperation, Trend reports via the official Turkmen media.
Berdimuhamedov discussed the cooperation during his meeting with leaders of German companies at the Central Asia – Germany summit in Astana.
“We look forward to opening segments of the German market, creating mutually beneficial and sustainable partnership models through the establishment of trading houses and other forms of business interaction,” he said.
The head of state added that Turkmenistan can offer Germany products from the chemical industry and agro-industrial complex, textiles, and a wide range of other goods of high quality and competitiveness.
To note, the 10th meeting of the joint Turkmen-German working group on economic cooperation is scheduled to be held in Berlin in early November.
The second Central Asia — Germany (5+1) summit took place in Astana on September 17, with the participation of the Turkmen president, who met with heads of major companies and members of the official German delegation.
