TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 27. The volume of remittances by individuals from Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan amounted to $4.7 million in the first half of 2024.
The data obtained by Trend from the country's Central Bank shows that this indicator decreased by 4.66 percent compared to the same period last year.
The share of transfers from Uzbekistan in the total volume of transfers is 0.8 percent.
Following the results of 2023, the volume of remittances by individuals from Uzbekistan to Azerbaijan amounted to $11.89 million.
To note, the volume of remittances by individuals from foreign countries to Azerbaijan amounted to $1.6 billion by the end of 2023.
