TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, January 17. The World Bank (WB) has updated forecasts for Uzbekistan's GDP growth in 2025–2026, Trend reports.
The World Bank anticipates a decrease in Uzbekistan's GDP to 5.8 percent in 2025, which is also the same as the previous forecast.
Furthermore, the bank's analysts forecast that GDP growth will amount to 5.9 percent in 2026. According to the previous data, the WB also forecasted Uzbekistan’s GDP to amount to 5.9 percent in 2026.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan envisions increasing its GDP to $120 billion in 2025. Uzbekistan’s economy has also grew by 6.3 percent and crossing the $111 billion mark.
To note, earlier in October 2024, the bank estimated Uzbekistan's GDP growth at 6.0 percent in 2024.
