BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 22. The next Iranian year (from March 21, 2025, through March 20, 2026), Iran's state budget envisages the export of 17 bcm of gas, the draft budget submitted by the Iranian government to the parliament said, Trend reports.
In the upcoming state budget for next year, the price for each cubic meter of gas exported by Iran will be set at 0.3 euros.
Next year, the government's share of crude oil, gas condensate, and gas exports in Iran's State Budget will be 37.5 percent, the economic development fund's share-20 percent, and the national oil company's share-14.5 percent.
Overall, revenues from crude oil, gas, and petroleum products in the State Budget will amount to about 21.1 quadrillion rials (about $47.4 billion).
Iran is considered the world's second-largest gas reserve country with about 34 trillion cubic meters of gas reserves. Presently, 22 gas fields are operating in Iran.
Meanwhile, Iran is reportedly producing 1.07 bcm of rich gas daily from various gas fields.
To note, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian presented next year's state budget to the parliament on October 22. Iran's state budget next year (from March 21, 2025, through March 20, 2026) is expected to be around 119 quadrillion rials (approximately $268 billion) in terms of reserves and expenditures.
