BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 4. Iran will save about 30 million euros a year due to the production, processing, and manufacture of soft drinks from barley (malt), Trend reports via Iran's Atomic Energy Organization.
The facility in the Abhar area of Zanjan Province, in western Iran, was operationalized today (February 4). The launch ceremony for the facility was attended by dignitaries from Iran, including Mohammad Eslami, who is both the vice president and chairman of the Atomic Energy Organization.
Iran's import of processed barley (malt) has already been suspended with the launch of the plant.
Consequently, the facility is capable of generating 15,000 tons
of malt juice each year. An allocation of 3.6 trillion rials
(approximately $6.28 million) was designated for the construction
and commissioning of this facility.
The facilities for valve and iron production were also launched
during the visit of Iran's Vice President to Zanjan.
It is important to highlight that a sequence of activities
commemorating the anniversary of the Islamic Revolution's triumph
is taking place in Iran from January 31 to February 10, alongside
the inauguration of facilities under new initiatives.
