BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 10. The crude oil output by Iran's West Oil and Gas Production Company (WOGPC) rose by 15,000 barrels per day during the past six months, CEO of WOGPC Mahmoud Nasiri told reporters, Trend reports.
He said that 180,000 barrels per day are currently produced in the company's area.
Nasiri indicated that the organization's crude oil output
capacity was 165,000 barrels per day six months prior.
The official indicated that a total of 12 out of 30 hydrocarbon
extraction sites within the operational jurisdiction of WOGPC have
undergone development to date.
To note, West Oil and Gas Production Company operates under Iran's Central Petroleum Zones Company. This company has been operating since 1999, and its areas of operation are the Kermanshah, Ilam, and Lorestan Provinces of Iran. The company can produce 165,000 barrels of crude oil and seven million cubic meters of gas per day.
Hydrocarbons are produced at 12 oil fields and one gas field of the company. A total of seven oil fields and six gas fields are in undeveloped status.
