PremiumIran announces plans for future payments to local wheat farmers

Since April 5, Iran has paid 370 trillion rials ($590 million) for wheat purchases. The farmers sold 2.5 million tons worth 520 trillion rials ($829 million) on a guaranteed basis. A price increase for wheat is under parliamentary review.
