On Aug. 26, Azerbaijani President, Ilham Aliyev received the representative of the European Commission, Alan Waddams in connection with the end of diplomatic activities, AzerTaj state news agency reported.
At the meeting, the parties noted the successful development of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Commission and the positive result of the Prague summit to strengthen relations. Both sides expressed confidence that the ties will develop in the future.
Head of State noted Alan Waddams's contribution in the expansion of cooperation between Azerbaijan and the European Commission and wished him success in his future activity.
