Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has today inaugurated a new building of the district's central hospital, AzerTAj state news agency reported.
President Ilham Aliyev and his spouse Mehriban Aliyeva viewed facilities in the building.
A photo stand in the foyer of the two-storey building features national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev`s care for healthcare.
The Head of State saw photographs depicting the building`s past and present look.
The 50-bed modern hospital was built within two months. It will be serving patients from not only Agdam but also adjacent regions.
The polyclinic on the first floor has stomatology, ophthalmology, ultrasound, physiotherapy, neuropathology units while the second floor houses surgery, resuscitation, anesthesiology, intensive therapy ones.
President Ilham Aliyev gave respective instructions and recommendations.
