The Georgian People's Assembly's Initiative Group discussed its upcoming protests on Nov. 25 on Rustaveli Avenue at a closed meeting today. Initiative Group member Eka Beselia, who heads the Solidarity to Illegal Prisoners movement, said all details have been taken into account.
"We must be prepared for any events," she said. "The meeting must have various tactics."
Beselia added that the protests will take place on Nov. 25.
The details of the chairman's address during the protests were discussed at today's meeting.
Regarding possible provocations, the organizers said they do not expect to use force. However, they wiil show the utmost vigilance, she said.
"We think that Merabishvili and Saakashvili's disguised agents will be among the participants of the meeting, but we exclude the use of force," she said.
A nation-wide representative meeting will be held on Nov. 25 at 3:00 p.m. in front of the Georgian parliament. Over 12,500 delegates from all regions of the country will attend it. The meeting was supported by several opposition parties.
